Characters: Lavi (
looseleafbook) and anyone else
When: May 30th
Where: North of the schools close to the river
Rating: PG?
Summary: Lavi sulking and hiding away from everyone.
Lavi had avoided the apartment building for the past couple of days, the past week. Instead roaming around the deserted streets full of debris and the past civilization. Sometimes he would roam across the bridge in clothing similar to the current styles over there, redhair and patch hidden from sight with a hooded sweatshirt.
But for now he was hidden way back in the most damaged streets of the city, a trolly car that had been derailed in whatever happened. Hidden from sight unless one looked as he slouched on the bench seat, feet on one end while he leaned against the wall. Several times he had come here to sleep, it was still cold out, too cold to camp like he was, but Lavi forced himself to ignore it.
Being alone and cold was preferred to being warm and bothered.

But, he pauses when he enters a trolly car, sensing that someone else there. He looks around curiously, eyes landing on the redhead.
"Eye-patch?"
no subject
So while the Noah gets the slightly startled glance, the expression quickly fades into a blank "I'm ignoring you" kind of look. Then Lavi shifts on the bench so that his knees are now pressing into the back cushion and he himself is facing it, arms wrapped around his middle.
"Hallucinations need to just go away."
no subject
Though, he does chuckle. "Afraid I'm not a hallucination."
no subject
However, the Noah's answer hardly settles him more, "You can still go away, Tyki. I'm not in the mood."
no subject
"How surprising. I've thought you'd be hanging out with kitchen knife or the cheating lad."
no subject
His whole body stiffens at the mention of Kanda and Allen, and Lavi glares at Tyki from over his shoulder. "No one is attached at the hip except you and your niece."
no subject
"Rhode and I are close, eye-patch. It tends to happen once you've known each other for years."
But, seeing Lavi's reaction to the mention of the other two Exorcists, it interested him. Did something happen that caused the redhead to hide out here? Away from the people he could have called 'friends'?
no subject
"Knowing each other for years doesn't mean that you're close." Lavi shifts more on the bench until his head is resting on the seat itself, ignoring Tyki's presence further. "And the name is 'Lavi' not 'eye-patch'."

split in a wide grin that all but crows a triumphant 'gotcha.'
Tim found the eyepatch guy! Now maybe his boy will finally stop moping and spend his time doing more constructive things, like feeding Tim things. Not food, things. Tim isn't so greedy as to steal his boy's food in this horrid dump of a city, but he may start if the kid doesn't quit brooding, just to get a rise out of him. And shut up Allen, you so brood when you think no one's looking. Tim sees everything. Like how you aren't here to praise him yet, you slow earth-bound crea―
"Tim?" The call is still some distance away, but approaching quickly. "Any luck, Tim? ...I'm not lost, am I?"
―Oh, here we go. That's his boy for you: always late.
no subject
He trails off, face setting in a determined look as he sets about pulling Tim off of his shirt. "Come on, Tim. I don't want company right now." Lavi was quite happy brooding himself on his own, even if he had unknowingly made his friends brood over his abrupt disappearance. But the redhead stills when he hears Allen's voice, peering over the back of the bench he's currently on out the broken window.
He can see Allen coming this way and casts a bit of a glare down at Tim, half-hearted at best. "This is your fault, isn't it?"
Lavi sighs and slips off of the bench, he can still hide under it, crawl to the back of the trolly so he's against a wall. Which is exactly what Lavi is doing as he grabs his bag.
no subject
Lavi's attempt at escape is met with a growl of protest until he gets up, a move that sends Tim tumbling, though the golem manages to right himself in mid-air. There's an indignant flutter of wings, another flash of very sharp teeth. HOW DARE YOU. Were Tim still big and beautiful, never would you have gotten free so easily!
Darting to the broken window, he bobs a quick side-roll to get Allen's attention -- this way, kid, and hurry -- then he's clamping down on the back of Lavi's collar in a valiant effort to keep him from leaving. STAY, EYEPATCH GUY, STAY. Tim is so sick of mopey boys.
no subject
Oh, shush. You can fly and he thought you had a grip on his shirt. Unless you're just too heavy to hold yourself up~? Seems like Tim needs to go on a diet of things to eat~ And always beautiful, even small. Big would have smashed the trolly car after all.
Goddamnit, don't give away his location. Lavi grabs at Tim and keeps a hold of him, hissing. "Knock it off! I'll give you something to eat later, just stop it."

Hahahahaha, you're funny. Maybe Tim can understand what his boy sees in you after all. The offer to feed him sure helps, and for the briefest moment, Tim wavers, looking between Lavi and the window from which Allen can be heard running closer.
But no, Tim's love for Allen is steadfast (that second of hesitation is totally negligible, okay) even in the face of potential munchies. Shame on you for thinking he can (nearly) be bought with food. If his boy wants eyepatch guy to be found, eyepatch guy shall be found, dammit. And oh, you'll hiss at Tim, will you? Well guess what, two can play that game.
"KISHAAAAAAAA!"
Feel it reverberating in your very soul, Lavi. Feel it.

"Tim? What's going on!?" He cries, and if anyone within earshot thinks he's concerned for the golem's safety, they're sorely mistaken. "Don't ea― Er, bite anyone!"
The door's shoved open next, rusted metal groaning from urgency. Allen comes thundering into Lavi's temporary sanctuary ― sorry about that, mister ― only to skid to a startled standstill. His white hair's mussed, the skin around his eyes bruised and fragile from too much looking, but his face lights up with happy relief when he sees―
"Lavi!"
But then the reason they're both even here catches up with him, knocking his smile down several pegs until he's left scratching awkwardly at a cheek.
"...I wasn't expecting to find you here."
no subject
Insert internal keysmashing here, because really it would look too out of place with all the lovely words. But regardless Lavi's still fumbling at grabbing Tim to attempt to cut off the noise that he's making.
What part of wanting to stay hidden do you not get?
And then he hears Allen's voice and his head hits the floor of the trolley (knew I was spelling it wrong) and Lavi sighs. Now his time for solitude is gone and he rolls his head a little to look at Allen.
The look he gets isn't exactly...well, encouraging. And Lavi hopes that he isn't the cause for the drained sort of sleepless look that Allen is wearing.
Lavi pushes himself upright and lets go of Tim so that the golem either lands on his lap or can make his way back to Allen. "Wasn't really expecting to be found..."
no subject
Meanwhile, Allen's bending over to get a good look at the both of them, hands on his knees. His head's cocked to one side, lips canted slightly to the other in what would've been a full-on grin were things less prickly between them.
"...Wasn't expecting to find you like this either. What are you up to?"
no subject
The redhead looks a little worse for the wear because of his new habit of sleeping outside, a little thinner in the face and gaunt if one looked under the clothes but otherwise fine.
"Just getting away from things. Needed to." Looking away from Allen now, down at Tim.

Kanda let his feet carry him, not really paying attention to where he was going, exactly. The next thing he knew when he actually paid attention was...well, Lavi, off on his own. It was a bit of an odd sight to see, since he was used to seeing the redhead with at least one other person. Being here for an extended amount of time did that to you, he guessed.
no subject
Kanda sees him one moment and the next Lavi slid down out of sight in the trolley car. Is he injured? Sleeping? Just hiding like he wants to? He should never hide here in the trolley car, everyone seems to find him here. It's honestly a bit ridiculous.
no subject
Kanda stopped, simply raising an eyebrow at the disappearing redhead. He waits for a moment, just to see if Lavi will pop back up like a rabbit, and when he doesn't he starts to walk over. And hey, at least Kanda isn't overly intrusive!
no subject
Nope, he's still slunk down as if he doesn't even care if someone he calls a friend is nearby. Not that he even knows Kanda is nearby, he just heard footsteps and figured it was better to be safe than sorry. So he'll stay down and hope the footsteps that are getting closer will come to a stop and turn away.
no subject
Kanda walks over to the trolley and leans toward it a little, looking to make sure he wasn't seeing things. Because, y'know, it wouldn't be the first time there were ghosts around.
"Lavi?"
no subject
Lavi tilts his head back at the familiar voice, spying Kanda's curious face just outside the window. At first his instinct is to scramble for a place to hide, which is useless considering Kanda's already found him, seen him. The second is to ignore him but that's also useless seeing as he looked at the swordsman. So he just does what he normally does. Outside of jumping on and hugging him, anyway.
"...What?"
no subject
"What are you doing out here?" Kanda was curious, to say the least, and normally he wouldn't even care at all. With the lack of things to do around Nesreca, though, he can't help but be a little curious about some things. He had a vague guess that something happened with Rhode, but that was something he was going to keep to himself.
no subject
He almost said 'everyone' instead but he changed it without the slightest hitch, in truth... He was still wondering what else everyone was hiding from him.

How do you wanna close this, anyway? So they don't keep going on into oblivion.
..........I have no clue.
