Characters: Lavi (
looseleafbook) and anyone else
When: May 30th
Where: North of the schools close to the river
Rating: PG?
Summary: Lavi sulking and hiding away from everyone.
Lavi had avoided the apartment building for the past couple of days, the past week. Instead roaming around the deserted streets full of debris and the past civilization. Sometimes he would roam across the bridge in clothing similar to the current styles over there, redhair and patch hidden from sight with a hooded sweatshirt.
But for now he was hidden way back in the most damaged streets of the city, a trolly car that had been derailed in whatever happened. Hidden from sight unless one looked as he slouched on the bench seat, feet on one end while he leaned against the wall. Several times he had come here to sleep, it was still cold out, too cold to camp like he was, but Lavi forced himself to ignore it.
Being alone and cold was preferred to being warm and bothered.

His whole body stiffens at the mention of Kanda and Allen, and Lavi glares at Tyki from over his shoulder. "No one is attached at the hip except you and your niece."

"Rhode and I are close, eye-patch. It tends to happen once you've known each other for years."
But, seeing Lavi's reaction to the mention of the other two Exorcists, it interested him. Did something happen that caused the redhead to hide out here? Away from the people he could have called 'friends'?

"Knowing each other for years doesn't mean that you're close." Lavi shifts more on the bench until his head is resting on the seat itself, ignoring Tyki's presence further. "And the name is 'Lavi' not 'eye-patch'."

Watching his reactions carefully, Tyki tilts his head to the side. "My, want to be on first name basis already, La~vi~?"
no subject
He growls softly, "Don't say my name like that and it's not like that. I don't need nicknames." Not unless you want to be an attachment, and Lavi would rather you not be.
no subject
He smirks. "Names can also lead to attachments, eye-patch."
no subject
"Lavi is one I can let go of."

"It isn't if you become attached to the name, Bookman Junior." Tyki knows he's playing with fire here. Not only is he dealing against a Bookman, but the redhead is also an Exorcist. And given that Tyki just arrived from fighting against a creature entirely made of Innocence, one would think he would be more careful.

"Who said that I was attached to that name anyway?"
He's not looking for a fight, so if he honestly got that frustrated with Tyki he'd aim more so for causing the trolly to break apart or something else to get away from him. Since walking away from the Noah would just make him follow.

"Then do tell why you're hiding out here."
no subject
"Because I want to."
no subject
"You certainly do seem a lot better than from the last time I've seen you."
no subject
"If you're just going to taunt and tease and not tell me anything, just shut up. Like I said, I'm not in the mood."
