tothelastbreath and
looseleafbook,
alma_karma whenever they get around to kidnapping him in the name of good grooming habits, and maybe
promisedlotus if he's cool with getting a haircut.
When: July 11th
Where: Nesreca apartments
Rating: DANDELIONS AND PUPPIES until Kanda opens his mouth.
Summary: Just a bunch of boys cutting each other's hair, with or without permission. What can go wrong, seriously. Also, action spam format. Aaaaall the action spam.
[Truth is, Allen doesn't really care if his hair gets cut or not.
Truth is, Nesreca has this hideous way of encouraging him not to care very much about most things pertaining to himself.
What he does care about, however, is making good on his verbal promise to Lavi, especially after circumstances have caused him to fall short of keeping the previous one. So when late morning finally rolls around, he splashes some water on his face in an attempt to wash away the fatigue, tries on a smile in a grimy window pane (stretch it, hold it, steady now), and makes his way to room 905 with the pair of surgical scissors they'd found all those weeks ago.]
Lavi? [ Knock knock. ] Are you up?

Lavi? [ Knock knock. ] Are you up?

Or I could keep my hood on.
[He's not opposed to a proper disguise if he has to interact with Credinta residents for some reason, but until then, he'll settle for keeping his head down and sticking to dark alleyways. Turns back to Lavi, mild surprise stretching his lips into an automatic smile.]
You gave him a bath? [ How... Cute. And domestic. ] And yes, we'd better. It is turning into quite a tangle.

Or you could do that until it got too hot to keep it on or became rude.
He was covered in mud and was going to get into bed like that. [Pulls out his PDA.] I'll see if I can get him.

[Get in, get whatever they need, get out without ever coming face to face with anyone. That's how Allen's been operating. He used to leave a bit of money behind too, but he doesn't have any left.]
Ah. [ a slight wince, he feels more responsible for Alma than he really ought to these days ] Good thing you caught him, then.
[Nods, indicating Lavi should go ahead.]
Shall we await Ningi?
It was back when Kanda was still...still banged up. [Sending a text message to Alma to come outside for his hair cut.]
Let's! o/
[Lavi's next comment sucks all levity out of the atmosphere, though. That single incident has given rise to too many complications, all of which are still raw. Allen's smile dims a little before he manages to prop it back up, and in the end, all he says is a simple:] I'm sure he's glad you helped take care of Alma when he's down.
/ambles on in
Mikki, it would help if you bookmarked the entry. I'M SORRY GUYS.
Lavi spots the golem first and then Alma wandering out in front of it.]
Alma! Over here! [Waving frantically with one arm, how can you miss the giant?]
IT'S ALL GOOD. <3
[ laughing a little at the enthusiastic greeting, before giving voice to what they're probably all thinking: ] You can stop waving now, Lavi. No one can miss you.

You're too tall not to see, Lavi!
no subject
...Pouting at the both of you as he stops.] Not my fault I'm surrounded by midgets.
[Ruffling Alma's hair.] Ready for a hair cut?
no subject
It's unsporting to call young children names, Lavi.
[Pats the broken wall, indicating Alma should take a seat, then starts shaking out the towel they were using.]
no subject
I'm ready! [He tugs at one of those long pieces by his ears, holding it up in front of his face.]
I'll look like Yu used to if it gets much longer.
no subject
We'll get you some stilts and you can be Kanda for Halloween.

[... Okay, he couldn't really pull it off, but he is shaggy as hell.
Sitting still under that towel like a good boy should. He's had a haircut or two before. He's soooo experienced.]
Not super short, okay?
no subject
Lavi takes the scissors, looking Alma's hair over.]
Why don't I just trim up the hair style that's still barely there, yeah?
Then if you want more off, just tell me.
no subject
I remember what it looks like. [ tracing a vague outline of Alma's old hairstyle with a finger ] If you need help figuring it out, ask me.
no subject
Okay!

[Lavi ruffles out his hair before the gentle snip-snip starts and tuffs of hair fall.]
no subject
I'm sure it'll be fine, you did a good enough job with mine. [ leaning into Alma's field of vision so the bitty doesn't have to turn his head to see ] Right?
no subject
Right!
no subject
Alma's should be no problem if it's only been that one style.
no subject
[ musingly, like he's never given the subject much thought before: ] Well― It grows. I can't help it if they trim it differently everytime.
