When: Sunday afternoon
Where: Apartment Building
Rating: G?
Summary: Lavi's off checking up on the people in the apartment. Someone's got to make sure no one injures themselves.

So, this is not exactly how he had expected to start the day.

Sure, he was no stranger to weird things, but it wasn't everyday that one woke up without being able to hear anything. To say that worried Lavi was an understatement, and if he hadn't seen what was going on in Allen's message then, he probably would've been a lot less calm. Though, to be fair, he knew he had it easier than the others. Losing his sense of hearing was only bad if he needed it badly, like in a fight with doubles or something. Here? It was just an inconvenience he'll have to get used to.

But he did worry about the others. While he's sure the Exorcists can handle themselves just fine, he won't leave it to luck. So with that, and after making sure Allen will stay put, he decided to go exploring the building for the rest of the people. He might as well check up on everyone, if there's just a handful of them living here. This was going to be fun.

Knock, knock.

"Strange?" he repeated. Ah, he must be someone else affected by whatever Libitania was doing to them, which meant that he was also was one of the forced tenants of this place. "If you consider being unable to feel anything, then yes. Of course, other people are missing other more important senses."

"Worrisome and dangerous are two different things," Yuuta replied. "You just have to be more aware of your surroundings." He then stepped aside to allow him in, if he wanted to come in, though Yuuta didn't really want some total stranger coming in. Stupid manners his mother drove into him.

"Being completely numb does not prevent you from moving. That's paralysis."

"No, but movement is something you do constantly. Most people don't even think about walking, how it feels, unless there is something odd about the ground or their shoes. So all you have to do is not focus on being numb."

He stood on one foot and jumped once without falling for emphasis.

Sticking one's self with a nail or not being able to feel themselves getting sick were dangerous possibilities, but he would be fine. So would Ritsuka, if they stayed indoors. Unlike that idiot Kanda, getting firewood. It was important to stay warm, but so was one's hands.
