sealinghistory and YOU
When: Sunday afternoon
Where: Apartment Building
Rating: G?
Summary: Lavi's off checking up on the people in the apartment. Someone's got to make sure no one injures themselves.
So, this is not exactly how he had expected to start the day.
Sure, he was no stranger to weird things, but it wasn't everyday that one woke up without being able to hear anything. To say that worried Lavi was an understatement, and if he hadn't seen what was going on in Allen's message then, he probably would've been a lot less calm. Though, to be fair, he knew he had it easier than the others. Losing his sense of hearing was only bad if he needed it badly, like in a fight with doubles or something. Here? It was just an inconvenience he'll have to get used to.
But he did worry about the others. While he's sure the Exorcists can handle themselves just fine, he won't leave it to luck. So with that, and after making sure Allen will stay put, he decided to go exploring the building for the rest of the people. He might as well check up on everyone, if there's just a handful of them living here. This was going to be fun.
Knock, knock.

After she made sure that Allen didn't do anything reckless such as climbing up eight or so flights of stairs, she sat at the edge of her bed and started fiddling again with the PDA. She wanted to hear someone's - anyone's - voice but nothing was coming out, just images. Her lipreading skills weren't even that good yet.
"This is ridiculous," she said in a voice that was probably a whisper. She couldn't tell.

"Hey, Lenalee! Are you there?" He called out loudly, knocking on the door even harder. She didn't go out, did she?

He lifts one foot and stomps on the ground instead, trying to see if that works. If her feet were on the ground, maybe she'd notice the slight vibration. Maybe.
If not, he may have to try barging in soon. This was worrying him.

The thought was maddening, considering that she couldn't hear anything. After all, if something were to happen, without her hearing, it would be difficult for her to know anything.
But then, that vibration didn't last too long. Just one and it was over. She sighed absently. Maybe it was just a small tremor. Nothing to worry about really. She was just being paranoid with her loss of hearing, that's all. Still though, she stood up from her bed to walk over to the door.
Maybe she should check on the others too.

And now to wait.

Lenalee paused in the middle of the room. There it was again, that vibration. And it didn't feel like a tremor, more like someone walking heavily on the floor. Which was strange enough because why would anyone do that. Unless it was one of those weird occurrences again.
She frowned at door, half-hesitant to open it now. Just judging whatever it was behind that door based on the tremors . . . Still, was it really safe to open it? She didn't want to risk it though, especially when her own legs still hurt and her Innocence still barely active.
She stood there for another minute, weighing the pros and cons.

Of course, by waiting he's only giving her a minute or two before he actually does show he's worrying, but he can keep his cool just a little longer.

What was going on? Lenalee finally walked over towards the door and slowly, apprehensively opened it, standing behind the door itself. If there was indeed anything outside - anything at all - at least she'd be shielded by the door first. She could think of other ways later to fend for an attack later.
After a minute or two, she peered around, only to blink twice at the person standing outside. Had he been there all this time?
"Lavi?"

"Hey, Lenalee. I was just coming up to check on you." He says, chipper, as if he wasn't affected by any of this at all.

"I -" She pointed at her ears then shook her head. "- can't hear you, Lavi."
