Characters: Rhode Kamelot's Evil Twin & YOU.
When: The week of March 12th.
Where: Inside your little minds. ♥
Rating: R. Rhode does not play nice normally. She is definitely not playing nice now.
Summary: Rhode's evil doppleganger is causing havoc within the minds of the people of Nesreca. No one is safe -- not her family, not her friends, and especially not her enemies.

Shoot me a PM with details on what you want your character to have nightmares about. NO ONE IS SAFE from evil!Rhode, bwahaha. And she will be invading heads and fucking with people's dreams ALL WEEK.

But, as soon as Kanda raised Mugen to her face, Rhode laughed, one foot sinking into the ground as she slowly began to vanish.

"But Yuu~."

And now, Rhode's voice was a perfect imitation of Alma's.

"I want to play."

Kanda had started to go after her when she started to sink into the ground. The only thing that stopped him was the voice. It wasn't hers. It was Alma's, and it made him stop dead in his tracks in shock.

How? Why?

She grinned maniacally as she rested her elbows on the ground, her waist down now completely submerged.

"Your Bookman friend didn't tell you~? ♥"

And now, her voice changed to a perfect imitation of Lavi's familiar jovial tone.

"Yuu, you're gonna have to watch your back around her, y'can't do everythin' by yourself."

"Tch." He would damn well try. Without anymore hesitation, Kanda stepped forward and brought his sword back, ready and aiming to hack Rhode Kamelot's head clean off her shoulders. He wasn't going to waste anymore time by letting her breathe.

Mugen connected with the skull, the head severing with a sickening crunch. It rolled across the ground, coming up to a full stop some feet away.

Only to show Alma Karma's face, frozen in fear, mouth open in a silent plea for survival, but no noise came from it.

Kanda stared in utter disbelief at the head. He didn't... it was Rhode he had beheaded, not Alma! He shut his eyes tight and shook his head, trying to chase away the delusions.

Except, when he opened his eyes, the head was still Alma's.

Kanda's grip slackened on Mugen just slightly before he forced himself to tighten it. This wasn't real. Not real.

He was dreaming.

The head did not move. Nothing in the scene changed. It was simply Kanda Yuu and the dead body of Alma Karma.

Minutes passed. Rhode Kamelot did not appear. Alma Karma remained the same.

And then -- suddenly -- a different voice, a man, this time, laughed from behind Kanda.

"Do you want to see him again? ♥"

The voice made Kanda jump just slightly. He immediately spun on his heels after quickly recollecting himself, Mugen ready, to see who it was that stood behind him.he wouldn't strike just yet, however. That lesson was quickly learned.

The Millennium Earl, in person, was every bit as non-threatening as a caged pit-bull. But he leaned down towards Kanda, Lero in hand, that wide smile stretching even wider at the face of Kanda.

"It hurts, doesn't it. Loss. ♥ Could you live on without him? ♥"

"...Seriously, Rhode? I'm not that naive." It was a damn good try though. He knew that outside of this dream world, Alma was safe. Well. As safe as he could be this week, anyway. He wasn't going to lose himself in such a pathetic attempt to damage his mind.

The Millennium Earl morphed into Rhode, who looked less than entertained.

"Fine."

She tip-toed towards Alma's head before bringing back her foot, kicking it as hard as she could away from them.

"But it's only his future. ♥"

Kanda brought Mugen to Rhode's throat, but he didn't do anything more. She was walking a fine, dangerous line and Kanda wasn't amused at the least.

"Shut up."

She leaned into the sword, a fine line of blood appearing as Mugen pressed into her flesh. It didn't seem to bother her whatsoever, Innocence or not.

"Allen asked me not to tell because it was cruel."

The very word 'Allen' was spit out, as if it were disgusting.

"The damned sprout needs to look out for himself." Kanda pressed the blade closer, but not by much. She was hiding something. He knew she was, but he didn't know what or who it involved.

But if he had to go by just how this fight started? He would have to guess it involved Alma, in some way. Somehow. It would be imposssible, though, considering they were never allowed to leave the lab.

"Alma Karma, where I am, is an akuma."

Rhode grins, clearly enjoying every single word.

"And dead."

Kanda's eyes widened at that before narrowing dangerously. He drew Mugen back, again, before moving to chop off Rhode's head again. That was not funny. Not funny at all.

The dead might be able to turn into akuma once called back, but everyone in that lab was killed. He and Marie were the only survivors. He never called for the Earl, and it was beyonf obvious Marie hadn't either.

"Don't fuck with me, Noah."

Rhode only laughed as the sword connects, her head dangling as her body works to heal herself.

And then, the scenery changed -- they were in Jordan -- Allen was there, along with Kanda, and Rhode -- all three of them standing among the wreckage as Alma Karma burst forth from the container he was kept in.

As the Akuma that he was.

Kanda turned as the scenery changed. He spotted Allen out of the corner of his eye but didn't call out to him. It was just a dream.

It was just a dream.

Still, there was no denying that the man - akuma - standing before him was Alma Karma. Alma Karma, nine years later.

It's just a dream. It has to be.

"I've been inside your head, Kanda Yuu."

Rhode's voice was a low growl as Alma moved forward.

"I was there."

Kanda turned on his heels, bangs hiding his eyes from plain view as he spun around and moved to hack off Rhode's head again. He had no patience for these kinds of mind games. He had had enough.

Play time was over.

A candle appeared out of nowhere, to protect Rhode from the flash of Mugen, as the little girl skipped backwards, wrapping her arms around the akuma who was staring at Kanda with hatred.

"I want you to kill him," Rhode whispered, standing on her tip-toes to whisper into the akuma's ear. "And if you can't..."

The tiniest of pauses.

"Self-destruct."

That hate. That look made him regret that there wasn't anything he could do to change how things ended between them. Kanda kept his grip tight on Mugen, still keeping it deactivated. He didn't want to hurt Alma.

He couldn't bar to face the look of utter shock and hurt with the silent 'why?' again.

The akuma, under Rhode's command, launched forward, reaching forward with a hand to slash at Kanda's chest, snarling in rage.

"Yuu."

He was fast. Kanda leapt back at the last second to get out of the way, giving a soft 'tch' as the front of his trench coat took the brunt of the attack. After spending months with Alma - the real, innocent Alma - part of him wanted to yell out, to tell him to snap out of it. He didn't. He knew it wouldn't work.

It was a dream, after all.

He just had to make sure not to get killed.

The akuma kept coming after Kanda, slashing and snarling and attacking, each time going for his throat, his chest.

Alma was trying to kill him.

"Surprised to see me again?" Alma hissed with a grin as he whipped forward a hand to attack Kanda's side.
