When you are younger, the camera is like a friend
Characters: Aoyagi Ritsuka, Open
When: May 13th
Where: Nesreca
Rating: TBD
Summary: Hunting for a camera
He'd searched all around the apartment and found no sign of his camera. It felt like a silly thing to be so concerned over. Soon the batteries would die and he wouldn't be able to use it, but the pictures were there. It was like carrying his friends and family around with him, and when the loneliness of this place got to him he could cycle through them and feel a weight lifted.
So he'd left the area surrounding the apartment, wondering just how he was supposed to find something so small in a place like this. He balanced along the edge of the curb for a stretch, walking its length and kicking at fallen debris. His eyes were stretched skywards to the high buildings, a cherry blossom cutting in his fingertips which he twirled absently.
It could be anywhere...where did he even start?

So far, this walk wasn't really working for some reason, although he didn't show it. Well, at least the sun was poking out from the clouds. The additional light should help in his search.
One thing that he should have expected to see out here was Ritsuka. Sasuke didn't know whether to frown or...frown. So, he frowned. Just slightly. The constant questions were annoying, but there wasn't much he could do about a naturally curious person. He almost...
No. His frown deepened. He wouldn't allow himself to even consider thinking of that blond idiot.

But maybe he'd seen the camera, and he couldn't just carry on without asking. He approached with a hopeful smile and small bow of his head. "Hello, Sasuke-san. Any luck with your sword?"

"No. What did you lose?"

Ebony eyes shifted over to the closest abandoned building, eying it critically. "I doubt they will. They've stood long since they were left."

His ears flattened and he gave a sigh. "...This is too big. How are we supposed to find such small thing in such a big city?"

"You start looking. You're not saving time by just standing here."

He flushed lightly, and his ear quirked, twisting at some sound in the distance.

Tch. Pathetic.

He took a slow breath, looking down to his cutting and then back to the buildings. He wasn't going to let himself be scared away. His camera was precious. "Mm...I'm going to keep looking. You can come if you want."

"Start walking or I'll leave you behind."
