When you are younger, the camera is like a friend

Characters: Aoyagi Ritsuka, Open
When: May 13th
Where: Nesreca
Rating: TBD
Summary: Hunting for a camera

He'd searched all around the apartment and found no sign of his camera. It felt like a silly thing to be so concerned over. Soon the batteries would die and he wouldn't be able to use it, but the pictures were there. It was like carrying his friends and family around with him, and when the loneliness of this place got to him he could cycle through them and feel a weight lifted.

So he'd left the area surrounding the apartment, wondering just how he was supposed to find something so small in a place like this. He balanced along the edge of the curb for a stretch, walking its length and kicking at fallen debris. His eyes were stretched skywards to the high buildings, a cherry blossom cutting in his fingertips which he twirled absently.

It could be anywhere...where did he even start?

This event was starting to piss him off. The week was almost over and his sword was still missing. His patience was starting to wear thin to non-existent. But it was when he would be near snapping that he would go for a walk. It helped, usually.

So far, this walk wasn't really working for some reason, although he didn't show it. Well, at least the sun was poking out from the clouds. The additional light should help in his search.

One thing that he should have expected to see out here was Ritsuka. Sasuke didn't know whether to frown or...frown. So, he frowned. Just slightly. The constant questions were annoying, but there wasn't much he could do about a naturally curious person. He almost...

No. His frown deepened. He wouldn't allow himself to even consider thinking of that blond idiot.

Well, the kid hadn't even done anything to piss him off besides ask a lot of questions, and that itself was more a nuisance than anything else. His temper was growing shorter the longer he stayed in quiet places like this. He'd have to work on that.

"No. What did you lose?"
hebi: (サスケ » you're boring.)

Pictures of his family. There was just a small part of him that was envious, to have pictures of loved ones.

Ebony eyes shifted over to the closest abandoned building, eying it critically. "I doubt they will. They've stood long since they were left."
hebi: (サスケ » uh huh right)

He had to fight off a sigh. Of course. This is why Sasuke hated civilians, they couldn't help themselves. ...Also a wonder why Orochimaru loved them.

"You start looking. You're not saving time by just standing here."
hebi: (サスケ » warning)

"Hn." At the sound that Ritsuka turned toward, Sasuke's eyes shifted over to it as well. His eyes narrowed just slightly as a hand unconsciously reached back for his sword, but he had to stop himself. ...Had he really grown to be dependent on the weapon Orochimaru gave him going on five years ago?

Tch. Pathetic.

"I'm fine." Sasuke simply watched, just waiting for the 'please come with me' that he knew would eventually come. He wouldn't expect anything less, considering the child was afraid of the other buildings in the city.
hebi: (サスケ » sigh)

And there it was. Sasuke held in the breath he wanted to let out and simply started making his way past Ritsuka.

"Start walking or I'll leave you behind."
