The moment the blood hit Rhode's clothing, she felt a jolt of excitement. Her fingers itched for death -- it would be easy, to end it all, to sever his head and pin his esophagus to the ground --
But something made her fingers twitch and she yanked the candle back out with a growl of frustration.
"I want you to die," Rhode snarled, kicking him soundly in the knees, to attempt to bring him to the ground. "You deserve to die. It pisses me off that you're all allowed to live like you own this world when you don't."
Rhode sent another candle forward, and another, to Kanda's shoulders.
