Raven was trying to be social and friendly--she definitely liked the other doctor's willingness to be frank and straightforward. It helped that she sensed no malice or any sense of wariness and a need for concealment. At least, not the kinds that meant Raven was worried---really, she could understand it would take the doc time to get used to things.
