Zweifel ist eine Pforte
Characters: Yukio and ANYONE
When: September 4th
Where: The armory on the second floor.
Rating: PG
Summary: Rin's departed again, leaving Yukio lost and looking for distractions.
[Anyone on or near the second floor will hear the thud of a boot hitting wood and what might be the slow splintering of said wood.
Yukio's kicking at the sturdy door of the armory, specifically aiming for the rusty latch that holds it closed. A thick piece of metal bar is bent through it, serving the purpose that a padlock might normally. With Rin around it was easy enough to get in and out of the room, but Yukio doesn't have the strength to bend the bar himself, so? He's going to break it.
He could leave it for some other time, but what if an emergency arises? He'll find a new way to secure the room later. Maybe after he's taken inventory. And reorganized. And done anything else that might need doing.
Anything to keep him busy.]

Sasuke hesitated at the stairs, not sure if he should speak or not. He could feel that Yukio was upset, and he could easily guess why. It reminded him of himself, years ago, in a way. How he felt while he was still reeling with the loss of his own family. Now, when he wakes to find family gone (more his brother than other family members), it's...a subdued acceptance that he goes through.
It wasn't a better way to deal with loss.
But really, there wasn't a right way to deal with it either. Letting it out, though, was indefinitely better than holding it in, that much was obvious.
After a few moments of watching, Sasuke does finally decide to speak up.]
Do you want help or would you prefer to keep kicking the door for a while longer?

He doesn't see this as "letting it out". Hell, he's going his dead-level best not think too much about his reasons at all. The last time this happened Yukio... didn't take it well, and now Rin is gone again. He can't lose control and do something foolish like he did before. He should've been prepared for this. He knows what feelings to expect and he should be able to cope with them.
And he still has no idea what to do.
He takes two steps back from the door, a bit awkward at being caught.] ... I suppose it would be better not to damage the frame.

So it's perfectly understandable to not have a damn clue what to do, or how to close yourself off to those emotions that make it hurt more than it should.
It probably says something that despite how much Sasuke himself has closed himself off to the rest of Nesreca and its residents, he can still amazingly empathize with most, if not all, the residents. Especially since his family were almost notorious for being a closed-off bunch emotionally, and he himself was that way for as long as he could remember as well.]
Frames can be repaired, we can find the wood.

To put it simply? Kind of a control freak.]
Still better not to waste the supplies. I would appreciate some help.

All right, if you insist. [He's getting his sword out, powering it a little with his chakra to sharpen it further.] Just cut the lock, I assume.
[Action]
Acting as a beacon for her, which was why she was here. Offering him what comfort she could with her presence for now, before speaking up quietly during a break in his kicking. "Should I guess, or would you like me to stay silent and just keep you company?"
Re: [Action]
And that damned latch is keeping him away from his task.
He blinks at her for a moment, even throwing out a weak smile. It's always his first resort, his best defense.
"Pardon?"
Re: [Action]
Re: [Action]
"... I can't open the door."
Re: [Action]
Re: [Action]
"I don't have any blanks."
Re: [Action]
"Does the act of firing bullets themselves from the gun render them useless? Otherwise, since I usually provide the targets, I can probably keep them from being damaged when they impact my dark energy."
Re: [Action]
"Firing ignites the gunpowder in the cartridge and deforms the bullet as it's forced through the barrel."
