I can't help that I need it all. [OPEN!]
Characters: Lin Mayuzumi
and_my_pickaxe and YOU!
When: July 27th, last day of the Sticky Bodies Event.
Where: Elizabeth's room. ...Stay with me, a second.
Rating: PG for maybe partial nudity.
Summary: Lin wants to try on some of Elizabeth's clothes, but the trespasser left the door open. It's also the sticky bodies event. Many shenanigans ensue.
It was an unfortunate time for everyone when Lin Mayuzumi grew bored.
The battle had sucked much of her spirit away, and for some time all she could do was lay around her room and stare. But having finally met the end of her considerable self-pity, today Lin rose from her bed. She would lose her mind if she did this any longer.
After taking a quick swig of water and a bite of bread, her door opened for the first time in a week. Lin began to pace the apartment, thinking of how to best feel less like a corpse. And when she happened to pass by a nameplate that read "Elizabeth Tudor"... she paused.
She knocked, and waited. When there was (mercifully) no answer, Lin picked the lock. In a few minutes of unpracticed fumbling with her hairpin, the door was open and Lin was inside, her head held high. It was time to entertain herself. As fun as it would be, this was no time to damage the Queen's possessions, to steal or poison her. She had her rage for the woman squared away for now.
Yes, Lin only wanted to take a peek, just for fun...
Tiptoeing around the room, the burglar quietly opened every drawer and box, making sure to be silent in the event that a tenant below became suspicious. Lin knew that the Queen sewed: she had offered help to others on the Network before. But the lawyer wasn't quite prepared for what she found when she opened the closet. Her caution forgotten, Lin gasped, pressing her hands to her mouth. What beautiful dresses..! She hadn't seen such decadence since she ran away from her own grand home. There, she had worn beautiful clothes: silk kimono, form-fitting cocktail dresses, gorgeous sweeping ballroom gowns... until she abandoned them for an economy-class plane ticket and a cheap wedding dress. Both went up in flames. How she longed to wear such things again!
She lifted a dress from the hook as if she were pilfering a priceless jewel. Holding it up to the mirror, Lin's dirty fingers stroked the cloth affectionately. So, so, so very lovely... Maybe it would even fit...
Biting her lip in suspense, Lin slid off her clothes save for her undergarments and slipped a leg into Elizabeth's finest red gown. Just this was enough to fill her with glee, and she quickly threw another one onto the bed to try on next. Being sure to keep her back turned to the mirror as to not spoil the surprise, it took Lin a very long time to finally wriggle herself inside such a complicated beast (more time than she had expected to stay, in fact). Quickly adorning her hair with decorations she had found around the room, Lin turned dramatically. The figure she saw reflected in the mirror filled her eyes with tears.
Lin beamed at herself. If her lips and legs and arms and neck weren't scarred with frostbite, she'd look even more beautiful than the Queen! Happier than she had been in years, her caution forgotten, she burst out into a fit of girlish, happy sobs.
Unfortunately, she also forgot to close the door.

Seeing the door open, the young god thought it meant Elizabeth was in and open to visitors. He slipped in the room and instantly regretted it when he caught the woman who was most certainly not the queen. The most indignant squeak came from the boy as she turned and made, what he though, were such strange sounds.
Loki turned away from the door, hurrying away to leave the apartment all together but Ikol flying in after him made him stop to reprimand the bird for being a pest.

After a moment of terrified shock, she turned - but didn't have time to catch a glance before the boy was out the door. The footsteps pounding down the hall made her realize that yes, indeed, someone had spotted her.
Shit! She gave her own indignant squeal. There was no way she could have someone running around and talking about what they saw. With a gasp, she hiked the dress up almost to her knees and bolted after him. "Hey!" she screamed, head spinning. "Stop! Wait!!"
