Characters: Kanda Yu [
beanstalk] and Tyki Mikk [
ofpleasure]
When: TODAY I GUESS?
Where: Probably....all over Nesreca.
Rating: PG-13?!
Summary: Kanda's offered Tyki a spar, no strings attached.
Kanda had offered Tyki a spar a couple of weeks ago. He didn't doubt that the Noah was bored (so was he, he's been bored for months), and short of an actual fight (bad idea), a spar was all Kanda could offer.
Besides, he needed it just as much as Tyki most likely did. It even says something that, deep down, he was happy the Noah had come back. He was an Exorcist, after all, he literally lived for the war, for the Noah and Akuma. He didn't have anything else, at least not at home. Here...
Here, there was Alma.
He knew going against a Noah in any form without Innocence was practically suicide, but it was the only way for the both of them to get their fix without causing an unnecessary riot. When he left that morning, he left Mugen at home and told Alma he was just going to go out for a spar. He could only hope to trust that Tyki would hold up his end of the deal.
No Innocence, no dark matter, no phasing. That's what they (eventually) agreed on, for this spar (and most likely any future ones as well).
So there Kanda stood, in the middle of the town square, taking a seat on the remains of a fountain as he waited for the Noah to arrive.
At least it was sunny out.

All these exorcists, and yet Tyki didn't even see the point in bothering any of them. It wasn't as if he could steal any Innocence and bring it back to the Earl from here. Actually, being away from his family left him with very little interest in any of that altogether. That had always been more of their deal than his after all.
How sad that the most exciting thing to happen to him all week was simply sparring. Kanda had been specific about what was and wasn't allowed, and Tyki saw no point in breaking those rules. For now.
The Noah made his was lazily to the area in the square they had agreed to meet, arriving later then Kanda. He stopped several feet short of him and put out the cigarette he had been smoking.
"Ready, boy?"

His head's screwed up even more than it was before.
And at least Kanda offered. He only made those offers because, otherwise, the other Exorcists would likely jump into action when they didn't need to. It was a precaution more than anything else. He had screwed up enough with Rhode to know to set boundaries first.
Kanda got to his feet when he spotted Tyki, giving a casual shrug.
"Bring it."

Although a spar was a spar, and it was something to do.
"If you insist."

After that's done, Kanda doesn't even wait before he rushes in, aiming immediately for the Noah's head.

And he's just not going for the head, now. Too obvious. Sides, shoulders, arms, legs, if it's open, Kanda's aiming for it.
