Characters: Ritsuka, Soubi, later Matt, open to Mello
When: April 13th, Afternoon
Where: 202
Rating: Pg-13
Summary: 202's old owners come back
Ritsuka smiled down at Soubi, straddling his lap and pushing him back down into the couch. He brushed ash blond hair back from his face, tweaking his ear with a curious twitch of his lips. Gripping his chin gently between his fingers he tilted his head up, lips pressing to his with a certain determination.
"Soubi, I-"
It was then that the door opened.
Ritsuka's head turned, eyes wide in surprise and hair standing on end, tail about two sizes bigger then it had been and ears standing straight up at the sight of the strangers who proceeded to walk in as though they owned the place.

So of course the moment had to be ruined, completely and absolutely as Ritsuka pulled back and sat up straight. Soubi's head snapped around to look at the door, his ears down and back in aggravation while his tail - trapped by the cushions - wapped angrily against the side of the couch.
He was going to seriously maim whoever it was that was interrupting his getting past second base.

"...Soubi?...What do we do?" he asked. He was entirely out of his element...what were you supposed to do when dead people wanted their apartment back?
no subject
"I... I don't know," Soubi mumbled, equally as wierded out by the entire thing as Ritsuka. "Maybe... maybe we should get our things and... We shouldn't stay here. Not with them around."
no subject
He gave a small squeak as his camera narrowly avoided being stepped on, making a dive for it.

"Only one way to find out, but it's better than staying here," Soubi said, voice firm with new found resolve. There was no way they were going to continue sleeping in 202 with a whole family of the... things walking around.
Soubi headed for the door and after opening it, glanced down the hall in both directions, "Looks like a lot of the former residents are returning. Lets go before they start noticing us."

The blonde pushed the door open and, not seeing any immediate signs of zombies, pulled Ritsuka inside before shutting the door and locking the deadbolt. "But locking ourselves away for a day or so, until we can figure out any sort of pattern to their activities, that we can probably do."
He released his Sacrifice's hand and headed across the living room, toward the remains of the kitchen, only to back pedal as he got to the door. A short, fat zombie was shambling out with a broken plate and heading to the rotted easy-chair in the corner.
"Maybe we should see if one of the others have a room that these things haven't invaded yet..." This time it was Soubi reaching for Ritsuka's hand.

Why was this happening? The dead shouldn't walk again. Was it because they had no alter here? Ritsuka was going to make a substitute one as soon as he could, it didn't seem so scary in comparison to this.

Once Ritsuka got the lock undone, Soubi once more took the lead, heading down the hall and to the stairs, "Do you know which room that adult... Epsa...Epso... the adult is in?"

"We can at least get out of the building and out of the way of most of these things while we make contact with one of the others. Why don't you call that adult. The show off. He seems willing to work with others."
Soubi certainly didn't want to be the one to admit to any of the others that he was seeking help. Ritsuka looking for assistance was fine.

[Private Espedon]
Um...there are dead people in our rooms. Are there in yours? Not sure where to go.
Ritsuka
He hit send and gave Soubi and small shrug, then thought to add, "He's not a show off, Soubi. He's nice."
And Matt hax0rz you
Hey there,
You've been hacked. I wanted to tell you I have found a safe place where it seems it is free of the creepiness. It's a storage building but it's something.

Thank you.
Where is the storage building? We will be there shortly.
Ritsuka & Soubi
"Have you talked to him before?" he asked, descending the stairs and holding open the door to outside for Soubi, looking about uncertainly.

The blonde leaned out the door and looked around, then led the way outside, keeping close to the building and out of the way of the walking dead.

He waited for Matt to reply, taking Soubi's hand again, tracing absent patterns along his palm.

So while it may have come across a bit cold, it was at the very least, an honest assessment.

"You can't leave me, Soubi," he said suddenly, "You can't die and leave me all alone, okay?"
no subject
Then he very purposely drew the other boy into his arms and hugged him.
"I promise."

The fighter pulled away just enough to glance around and step them both to the side as a zombie ambled past without seeing them. No way he wanted either of them to find out what might happen if they accidentally touched one.
no subject
His tail twitched at the interruption, though he didn't seem quite as frightened as before. They were just people in the end...creepy, but not trying to hurt him.

Ritsuka,
I have attached the coordinates to the storage building and a few photos to help pick out the space a friend and I are in if you want to have any company when you get there. The 'others' won't bother you while you travel here... They don't see you. Tell Soubi I say 'hello.' Hope to see you both soon.

"Yes. I only wandered over there for about an hour to get the streets down, but I know the way," Soubi replied and tucked his sketch book away.
He then began heading in the right direction at a normal pace, moving to the middle of the street where most of the dead didn't walk, "Can you text him back and ask if he's got the ink already?"
no subject
Matt
He wants to know if you have ink.
"How far is it?" he asked, moving closer, tail tangling with Soubi's.

I went to drop it off when I came home... No one answered. I have the supplies back at the flat.

"...They aren't so scary I guess...the people. I feel sorry for them. I bet they were happy here before whatever happened."

Stick with Soubi, I'm pretty sure he has your best interests in mind.
Take care.
