Well, that's probably both good and bad thing. They're all emotionally worn, that much is and has been obvious for a while. When you're an Exorcist, though, and you're used to being able to do something or have an immediate distraction, and now you can't? It brings those unwanted feelings with no outlit. Too bad there isn't any Akuma around for them to do that to. A shitty thing to ask for, with the proverbaly black cloud raining over the population, but. Fuck he just wants something that isn't inanimate to hurt without consequence.

Kanda's never gotten close to anyone enough to call them 'brother,' so he doesn't know what it feels like to lose one. Alma's - the little one - probably the closest thing for Kanda to consider a little brother, with the way he's always protective over him, willing to hurt those that threaten him.

Or something.

Familial bonds that aren't already family are still weird to him.

Projects can find others to help out with if they're known to the public. Give others something to do, make them feel productive instead of like they're wasting away here. Who knows how they'll be received until announced.

Kanda frowned at the door slightly before letting out a breath, "It's me. Mind if I come in? I don't feel like having a conversation with your door." A quick glance behind him was given to make sure that Rhode's door was still closed and that the elder Noah wasn't doing....something to grate on his nerves.
