summary: Lenalee arrives in the middle of the city, soaking wet, disconcerted and injured.
[ Lenalee stares up at the tall spires of the church, the crumbling walls and the rotten wooden beams. It feels as if she's reliving the nightmares that continued to plague her: death and destruction, with her left behind. The feeling gives her a bitter taste inside her mouth, discomfort at the pit of her stomach. She doesn't even feel her injuries, the pain numbed momentarily. She sighs, taking a seat awkwardly at the edge of the stone steps of the church.
Her legs finally give way, hurting more than necessary. Her Dark Boots feel heavier.
Disconcerted, lost, alone. ]
I hope the others are all right. [ She bites her lower lip, pulling out the PDA from her pocket. ] What is this anyway. . .?
