Most of the tech here is slightly lower than what I'm used to, but I also originally came to that city from a place far less advanced in science, or at least...more ascetic." They do seem to have some anti-magic defenses though, which is not something I'm used to from what I've seen." Yep, still deadpan, and casual about magic and science coexisting. "Best path seems to be stay over here, since they're as likely to shoot you as throw you in prison, just for appearing over here. Talk to Gen. Cross, if you really want to, about what might be useful from over there. Or Lavi--but until you know more about things here, Ms. Holiday, I'd stay on this side of the river."
