[well, better get moving then! the orbs disappear suddenly and the claw latches onto one of the soldier's leg and begins to drag him off towards where Dainn is standing. it may be hard to spot him because of his black clothing but the Immortal is standing out in the open so it's very possible to see him.]

[It may be possible for them to see Dainn, but with them being busy trying to save their comrade, they're distracted enough that they don't really notice both the orb disappearing and someone standing near by. Possibly a fatal mistake.]

[fatal indeed. the claw keeps dragging the poor soldier and Dainn fires off another spread of Klorofolun. it might give away his postion, but Dainn is aiming to kill with this shot.]

[One of them does see the orb fly at them again, and as soon as he lets go of the captured soldier, he cocks his rifle and just shoots. Trying to get it to stay away.]

[the shots hits a couple of the orbs and they explode. it's not large enough of an explosion to cause too much harm and they're far enough away that it'll probably just knock one or two of them off their feet.

but they better get up quickly because the claw resumes dragging the soldier towards where Dainn is standing. he has a plan to make them run screaming for the hills. unfortunately it's going to involve this poor guy. better try and save him fast!]

[The soldier that shot the rifle stumbles back, falling on his rear and dropping his gun. He quickly turns and scrambles onto his feet when his comrade calls for help; that their captured friend is continuing to be dragged.

And that's exactly what they quickly focus on doing.]

[the claw continues to drag the soldier until it stops by Dainn's feet and disappears into his shadow.]

Hello there. I'm sorry, but this is my home...you shouldn't have come inside. [though he is not sorry and it wasn't.

Dainn leans down and tries pulling the man to his feet. if he's successful in doing this, the vampire will try bitting down on his throat to drain his blood. hey, sure it was a war, but that didn't mean the Immortal couldn't grab a snack, right?]

[The soldier's scrambling to his feet as soon as he feel that his leg is released. The other two that had tried to drag their comrade back helped, and as soon as the former was on his feet, rifles where cocked and ready to fire.]

G-Get back! We'll shoot!

[Dainn just laughs. normal bullets? please. if you wanted him to worry, you should use something solar powered.]

Well if you want to avoid needlessly wasting your guns, I suggest you leave. But I wouldn't be suprised if you foolish humans try fighting me.

[either way, it doesn't look like he's moving. let him have it?]

[Oh don't worry, them being from Credinta - despite some of their briefing and the stories that they had been told - they all let out a shout and unison and fired until the magazine was empty.

Because, really, what else were they to do? They weren't cowards; there was no way that they were going to run, even if the odds were against them. They'd do whatever they could to try and bring out the citizens of the accursed city. That's the entire reason why they were here, after all.]

[called it. Dainn laughs again and it seems some of the bullets do hit him. he staggers and for a moment, it looks like he's going down when his body starts to leak shadows. it quickly covers where ever the bullets had hit and heals them. normally his regeneration wasn't so flashy, but...]

Humm...well, not that bad of a try. But you'll need to try harder...

[and with that, Dainn folds his arms and sinks into the ground. he's not gone, though. within a few minutes a pool of darkness will start to appear under the soldiers and if they don't move, a larger shadow claw will try to grab them without warning and drag them underground. you really don't want to find out what happens then...]

[They do stagger back, move away from each other, but there's enough fear and shock that their legs don't take them fully away from the shadows, and they do get caught.

Guess they'll be finding out the hard way.]

[Dainn succeeds in dragging a few of them underground and as for what's in there, it's nothing but darkness. it's pretty much next to impossible to see one another and probably after this, you won't want to. or you simply won't have to worry about at all since the Immortal has no plans on letting anyone live~

the claw tightens hard enough to snap bones and crush them together. he knew that human beings were rather fragile compaired to him and he was using his strength to his full advantage.

eventually, however, he will toss them out once he thinks they were all crushed to death. but just to make sure they're all dead, Dainn will take a quick look around. anything there?]

[Nope, nothing, just a bunch of dead soldiers :D Congratulations!]
