[Lavi said he was going to check out the streets and check out the streets he would. Sure they hadn't abided by the "rules" of Credinta - stay out - but how could they be expected to survive without venturing over for food and clothes. It was no reason at all to come marching over into Nesreca with guns.

Lavi saw them now, hiding in the rubble of a building a few blocks away from the apartment building. He couldn't let them get to the one shelter they had left.

But what to do. It's not like his Innocence would let him take a human life. The redhead growls from where he's hiding, thinking quickly. It wouldn't be good for them but...maybe he could make a really deep trench too wide to cross without more equipment. At least then Lavi'd have another plan in place when they brought it over.]

It might work...

How's it look?

[Kanda kneeled down next to Lavi, one hand resting on Mugen. He watched silently as the soldiers marched in, and it wasn't hard to tell that these soldiers were afraid - but determined.

And, honestly? Kanda was used to things behind unfair. Such as been the life of an Exorcist, after all, born within the Order and having served them for nearly ten plus years until now.

All they can do now is wait a little, then counter.]

[Lavi glances quickly over at Kanda.]

I'd say worse for us than for them. [He eyes Mugen for a moment, thinking of the Hell Insects.]

Maybe we can scare them off... My Heaven seal and your Hell Insects.

[Pausing for a moment, glancing at his sheathed blade. He hadn't really activated in...gods, over half a year, right? It always feels like it's been too long.]

Can't hurt to at least give it a shot.

I was thinking if that doesn't work maybe we could make a huge canyon in the street with our weapons? It'll be annoying for us but it might stop their advance.

[He can't help but smirk at that. Like he's been waiting for a reason.]

[Silently withdrawing Mugen from its sheath, activating it with only a thought.]

[Lavi dashes across the street, drawing their attention and some of their fire. None of the shots hit as he makes it to another nearby building, Tettsui in hand. The building's rubble doesn't even hide the hammer as it grows and Lavi slams it down on the Heaven seal.]

[Kanda follows, darting around the bullets he sees (and likely getting hit at least once or twice). Others, he deflects with Mugen before sending out a round of his Insects at the soldiers. They won't hurt them, but. they don't need to know that.]

ARGH. Wood seal* Haven't used them in so long.

[Good grief, Kanda! Watch it!

Lavi's wood seal sends a raging tornado filled with debris and rubble from the ruined city the soldiers' way. Added incentive to run away from the Hell Insects. Tornadoes always do the trick.]

[HE'LL HEAL. Besides, he's had worse :|

Kanda stops and reaches to hold onto the closest tree. He knows he won't be sucked into the tornado, but it does also provide a little extra cover for him too.



And he might just want to watch them run as well.]

[DOESN'T MATTER.

The soldiers do run a ways, having expected actual resistance instead of horrifying insects and tornadoes.

Lavi leans back against the wall with a relieved sigh.]

You alright?
