The soldiers do run a ways, having expected actual resistance instead of horrifying insects and tornadoes.

Lavi leans back against the wall with a relieved sigh.]

[Kanda's prediction proved accurate, the boy immediately bounding over to wrap his friend in a tight hug.]

[He turns back to face the battlefield, hunkered behind his gun.]

In relation to the entire invading force, very few have made it as far as my range. [Which is fairly large, Elizabeth will know by now.] It's slow going, but everyone seems to be driving the soldiers back.

[Rin keeps running along with those dragons of Lavi's, flaring more of his own fire up to make himself harder to hit when the soldiers start firing. He doesn't seem as worried as he should be that he's being shot out with the way he's running straight at the guys. Swing his sword in a broad arc meant to miss, he attacks the nearest couple soldiers to him and sends them scattering.]

[Dainn succeeds in dragging a few of them underground and as for what's in there, it's nothing but darkness. it's pretty much next to impossible to see one another and probably after this, you won't want to. or you simply won't have to worry about at all since the Immortal has no plans on letting anyone live~

the claw tightens hard enough to snap bones and crush them together. he knew that human beings were rather fragile compaired to him and he was using his strength to his full advantage.

[You know that Lavi's going to raise a racket over it if he sees you come back with bullet holes in your shirt in obvious places, say the middle of your chest. So don't let the bullets hit vital places if you can help it, easier to say they missed.

To break up the monotony of the fire Lavi sends out tornadoes now after the last two disappear with his wood seal.]

Not yet. I've been watching the bridges for heavy artillery, but so far only men have crossed over.

I haven't seen any apparitions since I came here either. Perhaps everything Credinta's been doing scared them off for the time being?

[He wishes he could see more of her face under that cloak and cowl, to see if she's getting tired...]

[Kiriko is extremely concerned for Rin when he sees his damage from the fight, and is about to reach for his medical bag until Rin turns around. The shock causes him to fumble, dropping the pack onto the ground, and his jaw involuntarily drops. He tries to speak, and his accusation is more like a frightened squeal than a friendly greeting.]

You're a...!

[He swallows. Holy shit, not a good time to bring this up.]

I mean! Jesus... I'm fine! You look like hell!

Backdated to the 13th

[Lin had taken some guns from the armory, but having little experience fighting with one, she was too afraid to charge into battle. Instead of fighting back, Lin tries to hide herself in the square, but is panicking far too much to think clearly or to soften her heavy breathing...

It isn't long before a soldier finds her. Instinctively, she charges at him with her machine gun, and manages to get a shot. But once he's down and dead, she continues to shoot. Shooting and shooting... not stopping until his corpse is pulp and the magazine is empty.

When it's over, there's a nervous chuckle as she smiles sadistically to herself. Her expression changes suddenly when she gets a good look at what she's done.

She drops her weapon. Her shrill cry resounds across the square.]

E-EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!
