If Yukio had never starved, he couldn't understand why she had done what she had. She had, quite literally, starved to death only months ago - this was her present to herself for being alive. The occasion seemed fitting.

"Of course not. It's a wedding reception," she announced sardonically, taking a bite out of a nearby eclair. "Surprise! Congratulations to me!" It was impossible to tell whether or not she was joking.
