Shika spotted her fairly quickly once he left his hiding space, ducking down beneath chunks of rubble and edging silently toward the girl. She didn't seem threatening, sitting out in the open like that. He couldn't sense any chakra from her at all, in fact, but that was never a guarantee. She held herself like a civilian, dressed like a civilian (though still a bit oddly, even so), seemed to be unarmed, but he wasn't ready to call out to her just yet.

He ventured closer, careful to keep out of sight while he moved to get a better look at the stranger.
