Shikamaru's head whipped around to face the emerging figure, eyes wide and body otherwise stock still. He wasn't that far off, so why hadn't he sensed him? It could have been the fact that most of his very active brain cells were focused on the more tangible senses, but that didn't change anything. The someone he'd suspected was there. Right there.
