Although she had now more or less understood what Hitsugaya had said, the word ‘kidou’ caused Vera to give him a questioning look, and since Grimmer seemed curious about it she wasn’t hearing things wrong. At Grimmer’s question, she gave the blonde man a curious glance, noting how he felt his right ankle (she wasn’t going to fuss about it just yet) before turning her eyes back to Hitsugaya.

”Japan?” She thought to herself in confusion; it was most likely a city or country from Grimmer’s world. But if the kid had heard of it, it gave her the idea of how some people were from different worlds and some were from different versions of the same one…or something along those lines.

“Fucking hell, Micela would have a field day with all this.” The soldier felt homesick at the thought of her far-too-optimistic-for-her-own-good commander/friend, but she didn’t dare show this to her two companions.

Vera instead turned her attention back to the two males, obviously curious about the topic.
