Vera frowned when she heard Hitsugaya speak; he was speaking a language she didn't understand. But when she also heard the ticking noise (a fucking trap, a bomb, she should have known that there was a trap, it was obvious!) she took a guess it was something along the lines of "Get the fuck out."
She let out a hiss as she turned towards Grimmer; the papers and books on top of the boxes most likely belonged to him by the way he was looking at them. So she unzipped the largest compartment of her backpack, which was nearly as big as she was, grabbed the ones that he wasn't holding, shoved them into her bag and then zipped it back up. The woman grabbed Grimmers arm before making a beeline towards the exit, making sure not to go too fast so that Grimmer didn't trip or stumble.
She made a mental note to slam her head against a brick wall later for be such a fucking, oblivious idiot.
