Characters: OU!Uchiha Sasuke [[livejournal.com profile] theloneheir] and OU!Kamui [[livejournal.com profile] unlucky_blood]
When: Sunday, July 25th
Where: Nesreca streets
Rating: Eh. R for violence and bloodsucking?
Summary: Kamui's hungry, and his first victim just so happens to be someone he really dislikes.

Sasuke couldn't honestly get why he had the urge to go to the library and finish going through the remaining books. Well, technically he still had to go through them, but that wouldn't happen until he learned a little more Russian. He was thorough, after all. When his eyes started to tire, Sasuke decided to call it a day and head back to Itachi's apartment.

Something felt...off to him, though. He didn't like it. However, he didn't want to make it totally obvious how cautious he was. He knew that while he couldn't see, Itachi could take care of himself, and he still had one of his clones with him. Sasuke would wait until he got into the apartment building before picking up the pace, though it didn't really matter with Itachi living on the second floor.

When the building came into sight a few blocks away, Sasuke let out a mental breath. So far, there wasn't even anything to be overly cautious about. So far.

How long had it been since he’d eaten? Too long to recall off hand, not the best situation to get himself into but there had been so little choice in his actions, this was a place where everyone was on edge which made feeding extremely difficult. He’d only chosen to venture out for such a thing now because he simply couldn’t wait any longer, which led to the question of who to pick as a victim of sorts.

He disliked a number of people in this place, either on a near hatred basis or on a simple annoyance scale, although one person did particularly stick out in his mind. That quite one who seemed to love pointing out the obvious and generally making a nosy nuisance out of himself, he had a sickened brother if he recalled correctly from the general network watching he’d done since arriving.

Which led the vampire to his current situation of tailing said bait to a place where he would settle for a short while, he didn’t have the patience or control right now to wait until this one fell into a deep sleep. Hopefully this wouldn’t take too long, if it did he’d simply have to throw caution to the wind and jump into an attack. Kamui shifted in his position on a rooftop, really this stalking nonsense was far more suited to his brother than him, he liked the idea of conflict and he wasn’t going to hesitate if the chance raised its head.

Keep still, keep watch, and stop breathing. It didn’t take a genius to work out that this one would catch onto something and then steer the path away from the apartments. It worked to Kamui’s advantage; if things degraded into a needless fight then at least he would have trouble gaining back up. That would also apply to his ‘reserve’ but truthfully the half-vampire had been through enough without being pulled into this feeding matter.

The vampire made his way as quietly as physically possible, silently as the roof rubble would allow, following the other’s steps. It crossed his mind that there were two outcomes rapidly leading away from a ‘peaceful’ ending. If he waited and this one could pinpoint him then he’d be running into something which was prepared for, if he rushed in there could easily be mistakes and he’d end up worse. It didn’t matter if he got injured in the process so long as he gained blood from it, injuries could heal after all.

Wait. Stay.

The vampire picked up a fairly decent sized bit of rubble and threw it into what he hoped would start a chain reaction. It just needed to be a momentary distraction and he’d be down and on this one.

A sword? Simple to deal with, he’d been hand-to-sword combat before and ended up coming out rather well considering what he had been hit into by the energy channelled through it. If anything this would prove to be a slant of luck to him, weapons could be difficult to wield around, especially if the place become confined, easy to use as a perch to vault across and easy to get stuck.

Kamui didn’t waste any time with kicking a few larger pieces of rubble around, a makeshift cover as he went down and moved in closer. He might not have had his Tokyo cloak to mask his movements at close-quarters but instead he held a multitude of rubble and sand reduced from broken and warn stone. A rundown place was so very similar to what he had grown accustomed to in those past four years.

Eyes golden, movements fairly low and sharp, a very animalistic approach to a very animalistic source of food.

Kamui wasn’t fazed or particular impressed by the apparent light show, to him it was a mere inconvenience to his eye sight, switch to other senses, special awareness and sound, as he darted between the attacks. Was this the best that this one could come up with? No. He was smart enough; this annoyance was just creating a diversion while he tried to map movements.

The vampire was going to make sure that he got in close, any injuries which happened would simply happen, he need to keep up in this one’s face so his movements would always be split second and difficult to read. He didn’t particularly care for killing, it was a waste of a body if merely one person was drinking after all, and really he simply needed to keep this one from moving long enough for a feed and escape.

Hands flat, a few lunges forward with the accompanying swipes. Anything to keep guards on the edge for just a moment longer.

Just as he’d thought, too eager and he’d run into trouble, which was just what he ended up doing. He didn’t calculate it well enough and one of his legs was hit in the process of moving over the current, not that he showed any indication of feeling the hit at all. That was perhaps one of the finer perks which most tended to enjoy upon being turned, the dullness of any sense of pain.

Just keep moving forward, sweep the cloak in front and the swipe from under it or kick out upon moving it. He just need the other to slip up, he could take any injury coming to him. No answer for such a question, if it wasn’t obvious then he wasn’t about to give any clues.

The vampire ignored what was being aimed at his back; a one track mind kept him focused one moving and looking forward. A quick roll out to the side to give himself a bit more room before following back up with a kick out, a rather sickening clicking sound coming from his fingers just in case he got the chance to go in and spill blood.

[identity profile] unlucky-blood.livejournal.com 2010-07-25 10:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Perfect, a block in front of him, now who was turning the tables in who? It didn’t take Kamui two thoughts to use the blade as a stable object to get a boost over on. A new kick being aimed in a similar way to how the clone had been preparing to slice, his nearest hand low with claws just so slightly extended.

If he couldn’t land a kick then he’d at least claw the other in the back, be it fleeting or in deep. It was a pity that, having had nothing to feed upon for so long, his strength and speed were decreased from his usual top form. In the back of his mind he wondered if this was all this one could deliver, it would make him an easy repeat target if that were the case.

[identity profile] unlucky-blood.livejournal.com 2010-07-26 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
Kamui landed somewhat gracefully on his feet, merely serving to drive home the fact that he couldn’t feel the earlier injury to his leg. He straightened up slightly and gave Sasuke a short stare down; this was proving both interesting and irritating.

A careful tilt of his head before that clicking began again, claws extending to full length on one of his hands with a sound similar to sliding steel. All he needed to do was gain a grip into him, and then it could be a simple drag down and get this over with.

[identity profile] unlucky-blood.livejournal.com 2010-07-26 10:00 am (UTC)(link)
That was the glory of these claws, strong enough to be blades themselves and easier to be wield within close combat. He wasn’t about to go running in with them just yet though, no, he needed a fairly clean sweep and an easy run in to land a hit where it was needed. A hit which could make this one switch attention to a rather minor injury if possible.

The vampire wasn’t about to strike out quickly this time, this way around it was going to be a matter of letting him move first and then moving off of that.

[identity profile] unlucky-blood.livejournal.com 2010-07-26 05:14 pm (UTC)(link)
If that little gesture was meant to make Kamui move, it didn’t fulfil its purpose, did he look or act as though he were born yesterday? Even he knew that running into that little action would cause more conflict than it was worth, maybe humans saw it as an aggravation tactic but to him it seemed rather stupid.

He held his ground; two could play at the waiting game for another to move. The chances were that eventually this one would either grow bored or simply snap and then he’d follow it up.

[identity profile] unlucky-blood.livejournal.com 2010-07-26 10:15 pm (UTC)(link)
The vampire probably should have waited a few moments longer, but he didn’t. Choosing the moment his back was turned to attack low and fast.

With this one though, the odds were high that such a tactic was already expected. That the whole leaving set of motions was a cover, an act so Kamui would start moving, even though the chances were high he still went for it. This just could end up with him gaining some wider and deeper injuries during the process depending on what the human pulled off.

[identity profile] unlucky-blood.livejournal.com 2010-07-27 10:48 am (UTC)(link)
Kamui didn’t waste time upon noting that his attack had missed, it had however put him into the perfect position for a follow up one. Namely he could catch that arm with his other hand or at the very least his shoulder, which was one small step from the neck.

It wouldn’t be that hard to fiddle with his consciousness if he could reach the neck, generally the best place to attack in order to keep someone from moving around despite the fact that actually eating from that area was less than desirable.

[identity profile] unlucky-blood.livejournal.com 2010-07-27 06:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Kamui let the arm go; he was near enough to make an attempt for the neck. As for where the other’s attacking hand was aimed, he very calmly moved his own free hand in the path of the attack. He could do well enough with an injured hand, it wouldn’t heal as instantaneously as he would hope but it would do.

If only he hadn’t waited so long to do this, the whole matter of needing to attack and feed, would have been an awful lot easier. To say nothing of how quick this would have been.

[identity profile] unlucky-blood.livejournal.com 2010-07-27 06:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Kamui wasn’t fazed by the hand injury; he just effectively shook off the attack as he concentrated on following the human’s steps. He was fast enough to keep up with one of them even at his current condition, this just put him down to a more level playing ground if anything.

He was through with playing this cat and mouse game, claws on both hands now at the ready. At this point he was now aiming to hit this guy into a building and hopefully get him to count out for long enough.

[identity profile] unlucky-blood.livejournal.com 2010-07-27 07:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Kamui smirked very slightly; did the idea of grabbing nails ever seem like a well thought out and good one? He started to twist the caught hand, hoping to dig in those nails a little to provide a distraction as he launched into a series of kicks aimed at Sasuke’s torso.

This was getting tiresome, now was the time to strike out with a large number of attacks in a fast pace. Effectively stress relief for being incredibly bored with this.

[identity profile] unlucky-blood.livejournal.com 2010-07-28 09:59 am (UTC)(link)
How irritating this one was, he should have just gone for one of the weaker people around the area, at least then he would have fed and been on the move away by now. But no, he had to go for someone that he had something against and he had to pick the human who simply wouldn’t go down. It was like back in Tokyo all over again, only with far less blood.

Nevertheless, he kept up the attacking, if he backed up now then it would give this one time enough to regain his footing and grab a chance to attack back. That was something which the vampire simply couldn’t afford to let happen, not at this point in time where he needed to feed as an absolute necessity.
